I think people have a hard time understanding satire because they have have a hard time understanding reality. Which generally is what happens when they are at the shallow end of the gene pool.

That's what truly is "riduculous" and "discusting". The freedom we are given to express opinion, even if it's in jest. The "obsurdity" makes me laugh at it all.
