Well, it’s like this: when I converted my website to WordPress, the first casualty I had to accept was being able to keep the original comments that came with many of my posts. This is because my previous site was coded entirely from scratch by moi. This made for a cool learning experience, but ultimately made platform migration difficult. And, yes, I could just reopen the comments on WordPress with everything starting over at zero, but I think that’s pretty lame… especially when these older posts aren’t likely to see any commenting action anymore.
So basically any post after the conversion is open for comment. If you really have the urge to praise/complain, you’re more than welcome to comment below, contact me or, obviously, comment on your own website.
